Apple Music brings iOS 14 functions to Android devices

The Cupertino giant is making available to the Apple Music application for Android some of the news in the latest version of its operating system, iOS 14. After having tested its implementation in beta versions, we finally have the stable version.

The news are being distributed gradually and in stages through the Google Play Store for Android mobile devices and bring some assets of iOS 14. For those who use the service streaming of Apple music, its use will be more intuitive.

There’s good news on Apple Music for Android

First, the update adds the “Listen Now” section, or Listen Now depending on the language set. The new tab replaces the “For you” section that presented music suggestions based on usage habits.

Apple says the search and discovery engine for new music is now more engaging and intuitive, also reflecting the spirit of iOS 14 present on its devices. It was from this thread that the novelties will have been developed.

Users will now find the search bar and its icon at the bottom of the app, among other improvements to the interface. Still according to the changelog official, the background listening experience will also have improved.

Important user experience improvements

In fact, it is in the area – improvement of the reproduction experience – that we can find the most relevant news.

We have automatic playback or Autoplay, Crossfade (volume leveling in music transitions), as well as the possibility to share directly on the social networks Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat Stories.

Apple also stresses the improvement in application performance on Android devices, being faster and more fluid. Now, it remains to wait for all the news to arrive at the Google Play Store within the next hours / days.
