Apple recently certified five new iPads from the Eurasian Economic Commission (UEE). The equipment included in this document comes with the following models: A2197, A2228, A2068, A2198 and A2230.
The information contained in this certification is scarce, which does not allow us to draw many conclusions. Still, it turns out that all of these iPads have already been certified with iPadOS 13.
New iPads to be unveiled in the fall
The fact that these models already have the new iPadOS 13 means that they will only be presented in the fall of this year, at best. October may be the month Apple chose to unveil these tablets.
Note that Apple's September event is usually dedicated exclusively to the new iPhones. Therefore, it is unlikely that new iPads will be unveiled on this date.
Additionally, we must keep in mind that iPadOS 13 has not yet been officially released. This only happens after the release of new iPhones, another data that goes against the presentation of new iPads already in September.
What to expect from new iPads now certified
Here we enter the field of speculation, since Apple has not yet left any clues for new iPad. After introducing a new iPad Mini and iPad Air this year, we are left with two likely candidates.
One possibility is a new iPad Pro. Another possibility is a new entry-level iPad with a 10.2-inch screen.
Once this certification is fulfilled, it is expected that soon more news will appear regarding this equipment. Then we will surely learn a little more about what Apple is preparing for its tablet segment.
