The new Apple iPhone X is due to be introduced today by Apple at 18h. The event promises to bring three new iPhones, including the iPhone 8, 8Plus and an acclaimed iPhone X Edition.
This "X" refers to the tenth anniversary of the iPhone that was introduced by Steve Jobs in 2007. This new handset is expected to bring significant changes in design and features, but it won't stop there.

Cupertino's company is expected to use its new Apple A11 processor on the terminal, this 6-core processor should be the most powerful of its kind so far. But how potent do you ask?
Well, according to the leaking GeekBench score of an alleged "iPhone10.5" (which should be the Apple iPhone X) the device will be able to score 4061 in "Single-core" and 9959 in "Multi -core ".
To give you a more effective perspective, the Samsung Galaxy S8 +, one of today's most powerful smartphones has a 2016 score of "Single-core" and 6666 "" Multi-core. "
Comparing to another equally powerful Apple terminal, the iPhone 7 Plus achieved the result of 3528 in "Single-core" and 5975 in "Multi-core".
Apple iPhone X will be a beast comparing with the competition
Thus we have the idea that this new Apple A11 chip will be much more than "an update" to the predecessor processor.
These benchmarks were picked up today at GeekBench, which means it's more than likely that they are true as the terminal will be officially unveiled today.
