According to Murphy's Multiiverse, the third sequel to the Ant-Man movie will introduce new villains to the Marvel universe after Thanos completed his story in the movie Endgame. Possible villains could be Doctor Doom (Fantastic Four) or Norman Osborne, the infamous Green Leprechaun (Spider-Man).
Since the films of the Marvel universe began in 2008 with Iron Man, we have yet to see both villains being embodied. The truth is that Doctor Doom and Norman Osborne have already been played by Julian McMahon and Willem Dafoe, respectively.
However, in the Marvel Film Universe franchise, the villains have not yet been featured. So Ant-Man 3 could be the first movie to show them, set for release around 2022. This year will mark the start of Phase 5 in the Marvel movie saga. We are currently moving towards Phase 4.
Ant-Man didn't have his villain revealed
There is a lingering curiosity in the Ant-Man movies and the sequel Ant-Man and the Wasp: Who Was the Real Villain? Eventually it was revealed that the figure behind the movie's drama was willing to pay millions of dollars for Pym's Particles, which allow Ant-Man to increase and decrease in size.
However, Marvel never revealed the person behind this plot. Considering that both Norman Osborne and Doctor Doom are billionaires, this link even makes a lot of sense. Murphy's Multiverse also suggested that Doom will be one of the villains in the movie Black Panther 2.
Supposedly, Victor Von Doom intends to expand his empire's achievements to Africa until it comes into direct conflict with the nation of Wakanda and inevitably with the hero Black Panther.
