Launched in October 2014 the Motorola Nexus 6 is a huge phablet with 6 inch screen, AMOLED technology. Inside it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and 3GB of RAM. Now, when we're about to get to know "Android O", this old Nexus will receive its latest major update for Android Nougat.

Specifically, for Android 7.1.1 Nougat that had not yet reached the users of this robust device. At issue would be some bugs that prevented Google from launching this globally update for all users. At some point the update was made available for some regions but they were promptly faced with bugs and the update was canceled until everything was resolved.
Android Nougat on Motorola Nexus 6
It was only during this week that the Motorola Nexus 6 began receiving the long-awaited news from Nougat. The firmware (system software) package weighs about 370MB and should also include the latest patches security (July or August).
To receive this update on your Motorola Nexus 6, your smartphone must be on the latest version available for the device (7.0 Nougat). Only then will you receive the new firmware (7.1.1 Nougat).
