This morning Huami (Xiaomi’s longtime partner) presented two new smartwatches. We are talking about the Amazfit GTS 2 mini and the Amazfit Pop Pro. The latter is a truly modest model.
Its 1.43-inch screen with a TFT panel has a resolution of 320 by 302 pixels. It has a 2.5D glass panel, and the body is made of plastic. The design immediately resembles models like the Amazfit Bip.
You can count on support for 60 sports, plus built-in GPS. It is also said that it has NFC, but it is good to bear in mind that it should only work in the Chinese market.
The battery of this smartwatch is 225mAh. This allows you, according to the brand, to offer 9 days of use on a charge, which is below the numbers of a Beep. It also has 5ATM water resistance (up to 50 meters), so you can use it in swimming without problems.
In this model you have all the most basic characteristics that are required of a product of this kind. It is possible to monitor steps, sleep, stress or breathing. Thanks to the Amazfit PAI system, you can get a rating of your physical activity.
Here you can read your notifications, schedule alarms or control your music from your smartphone. As with the Mi Band 5, you can also use it to take a photo with the smartphone’s camera from a distance.
Amazfit Pop Pro price and availability
