After we saw the OnePlus Nord being officially revealed, it’s time to wait for the T models. More specifically, the OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 8T Pro.
It is not yet certain when OnePlus will reveal the new models, however, if we look at last year, the Model T was officially revealed in September. In other words, it won’t be that long.
Is this the OnePlus 8T that passed on GeekBench?
A smartphone with the name of OnePlus KB2001 went through GeekBench to make us think. Apparently, this is the OnePlus 8T model that will come out officially with a “Pro” model.
However, the problem is with the processor that we see integrated. The base frequency of the processor is 1.84Ghz. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 865+ is expected to offer us 3GHz on a smartphone.
That is, it is very possible that the OnePlus 8T does not arrive as an option of true top of the range and reveals another intermediate version. Or we can also have a Snapdragon 865 processor. That is, exactly the same as the OnePlus 8.
We don’t know what to expect from OnePlus this year. The “T” models are not usually a major update on smartphones, however, OnePlus has a different ideology this year.
I would not be surprised to see a OnePlus 8T become a “flagship” with reduced specifications and a more appealing price. While it didn’t lose much in design for the “Pro” model.
In short, OnePlus is making good decisions recently. Although it is still not an apologist to see launches every 6 months, we have to admit that the strategy has raised the manufacturer more and more.
