Aladdin 2 is already underway

What we will surely not see will be an adaptation of Jafar’s return (which is the sequence of the cartoon version), as confirmed by sources close to the project.
As for the person in charge of directing the tape, Guy Ritchie will be responsible again, and it is expected that Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott and Will Smith, protagonists of the first part, get back into the shoes of Aladdin, Jasmin and Genius, respectively – although this is yet to be confirmed.
