Christmas is just around the corner, and Google has decided to share six new features that will reach users of Android devices. The purpose of Mountain View technology is to offer users a better experience, from a simple message, to the car driving scene.
1. Mix more of your favorite emojis
The Emoji Kitchen feature in Gboard (Google keyboard) allows users to mix their favorite emojis, converting them into stickers customized. With the latest update, you move from hundreds of combinations to more than 14,000. The novelty will reach users above Android 6.0 on Gboard in the coming weeks.
Enjoy more stories like audiobooks
Reading a new book is one of the most desirable activities in the heat of the fireplace, with rain or snow falling outside. And Google will work together with publishers in the United States and the United Kingdom, so that automatically generated narrators can narrate books that do not bring this possibility. For now in beta, it arrives at the beginning of 2021.
Use Voice Access to browse your smartphone
Voice Access allows users with mobility difficulties to control the smartphone with their voice. But thanks to machine learning, it is now possible to have labels on the screens of your favorite apps for easier navigation. The new version of Voice Access will be available globally for Android 6.0 or higher.
Use the ‘Go’ tab on Google Maps
Thanks to the Go tab on Google Maps, users can more easily navigate to frequently visited sites with one touch. The novelty will reach Android and iOS in the coming weeks.
Android Auto reaches more countries (UK included)
As we told you in an explanatory article, Android Auto is preparing to officially reach 36 new countries. UK and Angola are among those elected.
Share your favorite apps with ‘Nearby Share’
The next update to Nearby Share will allow users to share apps from the Google Play Store with people nearby who have an Android smartphone. No internet connection is needed, and the news will arrive in the coming weeks.
