The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 hits global markets in November with 5 big news. The mobile phone is the successor of the Mi Note 3, launched in 2017 and will be the global version of the Mi CC9 Pro, the latter reserved for China.
These are improvements over the Mi CC9 presented in July, an incredible technological leap forward over the Mi Note 3 and serious arguments for competing with the other Note10 on the market. These are the main points that define it.
1. The peculiar 5-sensor "penta camera" on the Xiaomi Mi Note 10
The Mi Note 10 thus joins mobile phones like Nokia 9 PureView, although its approach is different. In the new Note 10 from Xiaomi we have 108 MP + 12 MP + 5 MP + 20 MP + 2 MP, with each sensor and lens having its purpose.
At the top is the 5 MP camera with f / 2.0 aperture and a focal length equivalent to 125 mm. This module features PDAF, Laser AF, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and a 5x optical zoom which can reach 50x with digital zoom.
The second camera, from the top, has a 12 MP sensor and a lens with 50mm equivalent focal length. This makes it ideal for portraits, with f / 2.0 focal aperture, Dual Pixel PDAF, Laser AF and 2x optical zoom.
108 MP sensor produces 27 MP images
The 3rd camera has the ISOCELL Bright HMX sensor from 108 MP, developed by Samsung in partnership with Xiaomi. It was created for this new phone and will be featured in other upscale releases of the Chinese manufacturer.
For the Mi Note 10 the sensor is paired with a f / 1.7 focal aperture lens, PDAF and Laser AF, plus optical image stabilization (OIS). Employs the Tetracell method that aggregates 4 adjacent pixels into one, thus creating 27 MP images.
The sensor itself is 1 / 1.33 inch and claims to create 27 MP images brighter and more detailed than previous sensors thanks to the aggregation of information with Tetracell. It also stands out for its efficient management of digital noise (grain).
The 4th camera, equipped with a 20 MP sensor, has a f / 2.2 focal aperture lens and 13mm equivalent focal length lens, so a ultra wide angle. It has Laser AF, being great for landscape or group photography.
The 5th Chamber focuses on macro photography, to make known the great details in small objects almost invisible to the naked eye. It has a sensor of 2 MP and a f / 2.4 focal aperture lens to fulfill this specific purpose.
Mi Note 10 Pro received 121 points on DxOMark
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 (or Mi CC9 Premium Edition) thus ties in with the Huawei Mate 30 Pro with one of the highest scores ever recorded on this test platform. There are 130 points in photography and 102 in video for an average of 121.
Finally we have the front camera with a 32 MP sensor and lens with focal aperture of f / 2.0. The photographic module is hidden in the metal frame of the phone, revealed by an electric motor when activated popup).
2. Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G Processor
The core of Xiaomi Mi Note 10 is the processor (SoC) Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G. It is a mid / high range chip with some of the best features of the 8xx line, but in a more economical and very optimized solution.

We also have 6 or 8 GB of RAM, accompanied by 128 or 256 GB of internal storage. In practice, these are two memory schemes that match different prices to reach more consumers.
3. The 6.47 inch AMOLED screen
The large 6.47 inch screen is accompanied by small margins and rounded corners at all vertices. This is a 157.8 x 74.2 x 9.7 mm (height x width x thickness) mobile phone with dimensions of 208 grams.
With Full-HD + resolution and 19.5: 9 aspect ratio, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 has a total of 1080 x 2340 pixels for a density of 398 pixels per inch. It is a display which occupies about 87.8% of the total front panel area.
