OPPO is one of the brands that is investing heavily in the evolution of battery charging in a smartphone. The brand has already revealed the technology that allows charging to 125W, however, only today we have an idea when it will arrive.
Apparently, the new technology will arrive on a smartphone in the beginning of 2021. We still don’t know what the equipment will be, however, it is believed that it may become a top of the range. At least at the beginning.

This battery promises any user’s dream. Fully charge your smartphone in just 20 minutes. It is worth noting that we imagine that this smartphone has a 4000 mAh battery.
That is, a battery considerably higher than most smartphones on the market. So it’s the same as imagining charging a 3500 mAh device in just over 15 minutes.
Wireless charging at 65W
OPPO also promises wireless charging at 65W speed. If so, this wireless charging is faster than most wired chargers.
However, there are always some points to consider. The price of the wireless charger is one of them. For now, only Apple took the charger out of the smartphone case, however, if other brands do, we will have a huge amount of smartphones with fast charging but we will not have chargers to charge them.
This is because a fast charger is still expensive. For example, a 20W charger for an iPhone (even from another brand) will cost you around 20 €.
In short, we also need to know how the battery will withstand such fierce charging over time. Fast charging is useful, however, it is not the best for battery life.
